SIS Medan has played a huge role in my life. For me, the things that makes SIS Medan so special is the way that it not only taught me academics but also nurtured my Independence and taught me the importance of morality.

My favourite second home

Looking back at high school days, as cliche as it may sound, it was undoubtedly one of the most memorable times in my life. Out here, you don't get to meet the exact same people every single day, sitting down in a class with a teacher paying attention to every one of us. As frustrating as it may sound, you will sure miss those times where you just had stuff to share the next morning or being constantly watched over by your teachers. Being in a class with only 7 students, I was petrified about how my high school life would suck so badly. I lost confidence, began doubting how my future will be like. In fact, I have never regretted staying because the 7 of us eventually got closer and comfortable, forming lifelong friendship bonds. Make full use of your time and experience in SIS as that will serve as a strong foundation wherever you go. SIS has provided me a platform to express myself and shape me the way I am today. Being exposed in a humbled professional environment which you can consider your second home, where else can you find that?

One way or another, mere words fail to describe what SIS meant to me. But in a nutshell, It was about building a strong foundation, and placing myself on a higher-level playing field. It was about starting over a new chapter of my life, and knowing that I’ll write a happy ending. It was about taking the road less traveled, by daring to be different. And it was about walking in smart, but walking out smarter. Life in SIS was neither a breeze nor a torment, but it was indeed a blessing, and I am proud to call this exceptional institution my alma mater

I graduated from SIS Medan in June 2008. I'm so glad to have had the chance and opportunity to be in SIS. SIS is one of the most prestigious schools in Medan and I knew since the very beginning that it was indeed the right place for me. Comprised of academically driven, ambitious individuals, the student body was unmistakably strong. As a part of a competitive, high-performing group, I was challenged and pushed to greater heights. Being surrounded by exceptional peers and distinguished faculty motivated and inspired me. The vast connections between the school and the outside world provided professional networking opportunities and unlimited access to me. I was in an outstanding place. The friends and people I knew from SIS turned out to be some of the best people I will ever meet in life. And today, I will not be where I am if it wasn't because of SIS. So thank you for everything

It has been my pleasure to study in SIS during my late elementary years. SIS has given me a strong educational foundation that allows me to excel in my future studies. Not only competent in providing a top-notch English-based education in Medan, SIS also provides a conducive environment in grooming students with moral decency and good social skills. I believe SIS can become one’s stepping stone in reaching greater heights.
